The Casa was a beautiful house with wings and cabanas and pools, set by the ocean front on the other side of the island. The parents had followed in their cars and after the children had thanked us and said their goodbyes, Ross and Lefty helped me out of the car and into the house. This was to be my home? Sol was dancing with excitement. My room was just down the hall from his, he said eagerly. I was exhausted, and Ross took us to my room and left us.
