Tom wasn't putting any effort into creating a plan, meanwhile, Emily hadn't slept thinking about how to screw over Harry for good. Emily got dressed and went to start helping Tom with anything and everything he needed.  - Okay, I'm totally ready, let's do this. - Put your hair in a ponytail, or a bun, or anything that won't distract you or any work. - Gosh, it's like I'm back in school. - When you're ready, get my laptop and get ready to write some emails. - To who? - Emily fixed up her hair. - I need to get people and companies to finance the making and progress of the non-fog glasses. - You finished them? - No, but I'm hoping that with their money I can have a better chance to do so. After a bit more chatting, Emily started writing a professional sounding email asking for money. Tom wasn't working on the glasses, he was taking a break to start working on something new.  Emily lifted her eyes from the laptop and saw a sticky note on the wall: "Invention ideas". It had some stupid, serious, and other interesting ideas. Emily read them all, anti-microwave was her personal favorite. - An anti-microwave? - She laughed. - Oh, yeah, - Tom let out a smirk, - imagine a microwave, you set the time and in like two minutes, whatever you put in is cold. - Isn't that just a fridge? - Well, a fridge takes longer than that. It would be fast and efficient. No clue how to do it though, so right now it just remains an idea.  Tom sat down relatively close to Emily and started writing on some papers. She recognized the symbols he was writing from physics class, but she never thought she would see them in real life. They both sat in silence, not bothering each other's work. Emily finished sending out the emails and wanted for her and Tom to get closer together as partners. - Remember when we went skiing as children? - She asked. - Have you sent out the emails?  - ...Yep, - Emily recognized her attempt as futile, - anyway, what are you working on? Those scribbles don't look like glasses. - Yeah, I'm taking a break from the glasses right now, I had a new idea. - Yep, you seem to get those frequently. Do you think these people will fund a random high schooler? - There's no age restriction for science. - Sure. Mind telling me what you're working on then?
