- Decorations? - Tom was checking everything out.
- They're done. - Caroline said.
- Drinks?
- Yep. - Emily joined them.
- Okay. People should start coming in. Let's not forget the plan. Just as we planned.
Lola started the music and people quickly started showing up one after another. They were bringing their own drinks and getting excited to party. Tom saw Lola's friends enter the house and alerted everyone that was a part of the plan. Only moments later, Harry himself walked in.
- Okay, we didn't really anticipate this would happen, but we're moving to plan B. - Tom told Emily.
Emily told Lola and Caroline. Plan B was much harder to do than plan A, but it was still possible. Both Lola and Caroline had had a couple of drinks. Surprisingly for Tom, Emily was fully alert and sober.
- How do we get the phone off him? - Emily asked.
- I don't know. Actually, it shouldn't be hard at all. His phone is on the table, just make sure he's not looking and take it.
Tom walked over to Lola:
- Distract Harry and then follow Caroline when she gives you the signal.
- Got it, captain. - Lola was getting drunk.
She walked up to Harry and said the first thing that came to mind:
- Hey, haven't I seen you somewhere?
- No, I don't think so. - Harry chuckled.
- No, no, I think I have. You're that guy from that show, right?
- I think you're mistaking me for someone else.
Lola saw Caroline signal her to come:
- Well, maybe you just look like them, I'm sorry. - Lola walked away.
Lola and Caroline ran upstairs to an empty room, locked themselves inside to follow the plan.
- Okay okay, do it, fast. He's gonna notice that he doesn't have a phone nearby. - Both of them were drunk enough to make poor decisions.
- I'll do it, just wait. - Caroline took her phone and lifted her shirt. - Get out of the shot, you can't be in it.
- Wait, go fully nude, - Lola laughed, - that would get him fired up.
- No, he's only getting the bra shot. He's not worth anything more.
- That would be funny though.
- What's funny about that? No, just let me take the picture, and let's return the phone after we save it.
Caroline took the picture and sent it to Harry. She then took Harry's phone and saved it.
- Wait, respond with "hot" from his phone. - Lola suggested.
- Wouldn't that hurt the plan in some way?
- Nah, I don't think so.
- Yeah, it's probably fine. - Caroline did exactly what Lola told her.
- Hmm, send me that picture too while you're at it. - Lola mischievously chuckled.
They walked back downstairs and placed the phone back where it was. Harry didn't seem to notice a thing.
- Did you do it? - Tom asked them.
- Yes sir, we did exactly what you asked, and now, can we relax? - Caroline asked.
- Almost, you have to talk to Olivia, but after that, you're free to do anything your heart desires.
- What a hassle. Fine, I'll talk to her.
Caroline confidently walked over to Olivia and struck up a conversation when she was alone:
- There's a lot of people here, - Caroline stated the obvious, - but like, men, right? All they do is lie.
- What do you mean? - Olivia looked Caroline up and down.
- I'm talking to this guy Harry and he said he wouldn't show up but he's here. Men, right? I sure do love being straight and liking men.
- Which Harry are you talking about? - Olivia got concerned.
- That one over there. - Caroline pointed.
- That's my boyfriend. Why the hell are you texting him?
- Well, to b completely fair, I didn't know he had a girlfriend, and also, he's responding to me so it's kind of a two-way street. Don't just blame me, I'm just a girl in a world. Anyway, you might want to talk to him, I'm gonna go be straight. - Caroline left without hearing what Olivia had to say.
She put up the "OK" hand sign to Emily and Tom across the room. They all could finally relax and actually enjoy the party.
