Chapter 28
The two Vosians charged toward Rhys but he made Akizen's safety the first priority. He dodged the attacks, threw the sofa at them and pulled Akizen upstairs.
"There's my room!" Akizen pointed out.
Then they entered the room. Rhys hid Akizen inside the wardrobe.
"Stay here." Rhys said.
"Rhys, why do we still have to fight? We can just run away." Akizen said.
"We can't, jagi. They might trace our tracks if we do." Then he kissed Akizen's forehead. "I love you. Wait for me." Then Rhys closed the door.
"Why? Why did this have to happen?" Akizen cried silently.

"Where's Akizen?" Amira asked Rhys as their path crossed. Good thing is that their battlefield is a mansion, big enough for hide and seek.
