Chapter 14

"Oh God please save Kinien ." Akizen said as he paced back and forth the hallway.

"Akizen calm down." Ram said.

"I can't." Akizen stomped his feet in frustration.

"We'll just go for now to get some food. Rhys, you stay here with him." Ram said then he and Nicole walked away with K.

2R (Rio + Ray) is talking with the doctor about Kinien. PanDragon (Chris + Nikki) is in the garden while Eyvin is nowhere to be found, he goes out after looking at Kinien inside his room.

Akizen's phone rang.

"Hello?... Ah yeah... Not now Amira... I'll call back later... Bye." Akizen talked on the phone.

He sighed and sat on one of the chairs with Rhys that was just fiddling with his fingers thinking something deep. The two of them are sitting on the other ends of the row. Then Akizen saw Rhys stood up.

"Hey." He called out.

"M-me?" Rhys asked.

"Yes." Akizen answered.

"Oh. Why?" Rhys asked again. His heart began to race as he looked at Akizen. The guy is so pretty in his eyes.

"Where are you going?" Akizen asked back.

"Uhm... just somewhere." Rhys answered unsurely.

"Is that even a place? Where?" Akizen asked again.

"Just... there. Gonna find some bad ass, request him to stab me and throw me off the bridge and bring me back here." Rhys said in a low tone.

"What the hell?! Why would you do that?" Akizen asked he's now standing, too.

"So you'll get worried about me, too. You'll be afraid of losing me and... you'llignorethatAmirabecauseI'mmoreimportanttoyou." Rhys said the last part rapidly. He's wearing a poker face but deep inside he's so happy that Akizen is talking to him.

"Aish Rhys! Why are you like that?!" Akizen groaned in frustration, now because of Rhys.

"Why are you like that, too? Why do you have a girlfriend when you love me?" Rhys asked.

Then Rhys remembered what happened back then at the school garden.

Flashbacks~

"Honey!" A girl shouted from Akizen's back.

They both looked at her and you can see the shock on Akizen's face.

"A-Amira." Akizen said.

Then the Amira girl hugged Akizen not minding Rhys standing there with them.

"S-Since when did you arrive?" Akizen asked.

"Just this morning. I thought of surprising you." Amira answered.

"Oh." Akizen said.

"So who's this guy? Your new friend?" Amira asked, referring to Rhys, that is now emotionless, getting really jealous because the girl hugged his baby smurf.

"Y-yeah. He's Rhys Flint." Akizen introduced him.

"Nice to meet you Rhys! I'm Amira, Akizen's girlfriend."

And with that Rhys snapped out of his thoughts.

"Y-your g-girlfriend?" Rhys asked and Akizen nodded. "Oh. Yeah. I... I'll be going now... Akizen." Rhys said then walked away.

Why are you about to cry? Stupid! Akizen wants to say to Rhys.

"Yah! How can you say that I love you?" Akizen asked, blushing a little. He thinks they're not that close to each other so Rhys can't see him blushing.

"When I kissed you, you kissed back and right now, you're blushing and your heart's beating fast like mine." Rhys said.

"You're wrong!" Akizen said, crossing his arms not knowing Rhys could hear his heart beating rapidly clearly because of his wolf ability.

"I'm right, baby smurf. Admit it, you love me, too." Rhys said like it's a total fact like we're gonna die if we won't breathe.

"No!" Akizen said.

"Yes!" Rhys insisted.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes! Yes! Yes! You love me!"

"Argh! Fine! I love you! Happy now?!" Akizen said irritated then covered his mouth when he realized it.

He slowly looked at Rhys and he saw him smiling widely and teary eyed.

"Hey!" He shouted.

"Waaah! My Zenzen!" Rhys shouted and hugged Akizen.

"Hey! Get off, giant! Let me go!" Akizen shrieked.

"I won't! I don't want to let you go! I won't let you go!" Rhys said firmly hugging Akizen tightly. The petite boy blushed.

"Baby." Rhys called.

"W-what?" Akizen replied.

"Nah. I'm just practicing calling you." Then Rhys chuckled.

"Stupid." Akizen said as he buried his head on Rhys's shoulder.

"Baby." Rhys called again.

"Hm?" This time Akizen just hummed.

"Break up with her." Rhys said.

"H-huh?" Akizen tried to break the hug but Rhys didn't let him.

"You have to break up with her now that we're together. You'll look like a bastard cheater if you don't." Akizen didn't reply so Rhys spoke again. "Don't you want to break up with her? Do you... Do you love her, too?" Then Akizen felt Rhys hugged him tighter. "No. I don't love her, Rhys. At least not in that way." Akizen answered. Rhys smiled in relief when he heard this.

"Then break up with her." Rhys said.

"I... I don't know how." Akizen answered.

"Tell me what's stopping you." Rhys said, this time he looked directly at Akizen's eyes seeking for truth.

"Her family." Akizen murmured.

"I don't understand. Please explain." Rhys said.

"I was an orphan. I'm in an orphanage 'til I was 10 but I met Amira. She said she like me so her parents adopted me as their daughter's future husband. They took care of me and treated me as their own child so I don't know how to tell them that I don't want their daughter. I'm sure they'll despise me and throw me out of the house." Akizen explained. Rhys hugged him again.

"Your body fits so perfect with mine you know that." Rhys said and Akizen got confused because it's definitely off topic. "If they'll throw you out then I'm just there outside, I'm gonna catch you so you won't get hurt. You'll live with me." Rhys said. Then he started to sway, making Akizen feel comfortable.

"Thanks giant." Akizen said, swaying with Rhys. They're like dancing without music.

"Anytime baby smurf. I love you." Rhys said. Akizen blushed then said. "I love you, too baby giant."
