Chapter 9
Nicole's POV
Ugh! I really hate that troll!
"Nicoooo?" I heard him call out.
I didn't look at him, we're in the middle of our class for pete's sake!
"Nico!" He called out again.
I looked at him this time because he threw paper at me.
"Nothing." He said and smiled.
"Damn this troll." I whispered.
I picked up the paper he threw at me because I'll be scolded if I'm caught having trash under my chair.
"Nicoooo!" He called out again.
Nicole I'm telling you, do not ever look at that troll or you'll get in trouble. He always gets you in trouble so better not mind him at all.
"Nikeeeee!" He called again.
That's right Nicole, don't mind him. Remember when he shouted you're a cute Nike in front of many people? That's so embarrassing man.
"Nike-Nikeeee!" He called again.
Whatever! I won't look because I won't! I just rolled my eyes. After so many embarrassments and bullying you do to me? Hah! In your face!
"Nicole! The teacher's calling you!" He said again.
Nicole huh? He just calls me that when he's serious. How'd I know? Well, he took care of me when I was sick.
The teacher is calling you.
"What?!" I stood up.
And yes, the teacher's now glaring at me.
"Mr. Lopez, it's your first time spacing out in my class. I've called you three times already! Mind if you explain what's going on you?" The teacher said and I just know she’s furious.
"I-I'm sorry. I-I was j-just thinking about s-something." I stuttered, she's scary ok? She's scary.
"What is that paper you're holding?" She asked.
"I-I-" before I finished my sentence, she grabbed the paper from my hand.
Her eyes widened. What the heck is written in there?!
"What's this? I love Ramiel? With hearts and flowers all over? This is so... Sweet! But don't do it in the middle of our class, you'll space out again and Mr. Bolt, don't get awkward with our Nicole." Teacher said like a fangirl seeing her ship together.
I tried to explain but the class then squealed and others were even shouting RaIke (Ram+Nike), led by my ever supportive friends. My jaw dropped open. I glared at the troll.
"Don't worry teacher, I love Nicole, too." Ram said as if he's talking with my father.
And the class went wild again. Damn you Ramiel Bolt! I got teased by the whole class.

"That troll! He's gonna get it this time!" I said as I massacred my burger on my plate.
"Poor burger, getting massacred in his innocent days." Kinien said.
"Kini!" I tried to hug him but he stopped me.
"Hug Ray instead, I got a cold man. Don't wanna share it with you." He said so I hugged Ray.
"It's ok Nike." He said then clasp his hands together.
"What're you doing Ray?" I asked.
"Praying for the massacred burger." He said and smiled so I smiled back more like I chuckled at his cuteness.
"Waaaah! No! What're you doing?! Get off him!" I heard Ram shout from my back.
I ignored him and hugged Ray tighter.
"Hey! Rio! Help me separate them!" He said and he was panicking.
"Waaah! Ray! Don't let me go!" I shouted as Rio pulled me from Ray.
"It'll be fine." Ray just said as Ram drags him off me.
"Ray! Ray! Nooo!" I dramatically shouted as we're separated.
"Don't hug him!" Ram said to me as he changed places with Rio. He sounds like a possessive boyfriend! Argh!
"Why not? I like Ray!" I said then walked away.
"Nicole!" I heard Kinien called out but I didn't turn my back. I just continued walking out of the cafeteria.

I heard my stomach growl as I walked here in the hallway. Jeez, I haven't finished my food earlier so here I am, hungry again. Damn that Ram.
Everyone thinks I'm the reliable and peaceful kid here but they're wrong, I have this messed up family. My mother's sleeping with different men and my father's a drug user. Nice right?
I'm sick of the looks in their eyes. They always look at me in pity. I hate seeing them looking at me like that.
"Two burgers and one soda please?" I said to the girl at the counter.
"Coming right up sir." she said then prepared my order.
"Thanks." I said before going to our table but there's someone sitting there.
"He-" I cut myself saying 'hey' when I saw it's the troll.
"W-wait! !" He called out when I started to walk away.
I just continued walking, not bothering to look at him.
"Wait." He said as he held my arm.
"Let me go." I said.
"No. Please? Listen to me Nicole." He said.
There it is again. Nicole.
"Come on! Let me-"
"Listen to me please?" He insisted.
I looked at him and saw he's looking straight back at my eyes seriously. Too serious.
"What do you want this time? Still not done bullying me?" I asked, anger's crystal clear in my voice.
"I'm not bullying you. I'm telling you the truth. I love you Nicole, believe me." He said.
"I don't care." I said coldly.
His grip loosened as I said that, he'll stop now, right? With that, I made my way to our table, sat on one chair and started eating.
"Do you really like Ray?" He asked. He's still here?
"Of course." I answered.
He sat beside me, he's looking at me with teary eyes. What's his problem now?
"Really?" He asked again.
"Yes. He's my friend for pete's sake! You won't befriend someone if you don't like them." I said getting annoyed.
Suddenly his eyes twinkled... this is bad. He hugged me.
"I love you ! Whatever happens I'll still love you." He said.
What the heck! I thought he's gonna give up?
