Aleyna wondered who could’ve called her so early and that too without a caller ID. She felt restless as she couldn’t call back either. She wished for the person to call again and made sure the volume was high on her cell phone. She got dressed all the time peeking glances at her phone. Her mom was nowhere to be found but the breakfast on the counter proved that she had left already. Today Aleyna was driving to work as Defne was on holidays. Even there her eyes kept glancing at her phone. She asked her assistant to print out a letter for her, “Oh, I’m sorry Ms.Morris but I think our printer is not working.” Aleyna felt agitated, “What do you mean? This is very important, I need to submit this to Mr.Harris today. Please see, if you can use someone elses.” Aleyna turned around to leave.
