“I have something for you.” He told her and went inside his room coming out with his hands behind his back.
“What is it?” Aleyna asked wondering what he was upto.
“I wanted to give it to you on Christmas but I believe now is the right time. Close your eyes for me.”
It was more of a command which she obeyed without any objection. He held her left hand and clasped something around her wrist. When she opened her eyes, there was a string of diamonds sparkling on it. She gasped at it, her mouth half open. This was much too expensive for her and she could never accept it.
“This bracelet is beautiful Mark but I can’t take it, it’s too luxurious.” Aleyna said shaking her head.
“Promise me you won’t take it off. I wanted you to have it the moment I laid eyes on it. This was meant for you.”
