I scanned the crowd of girls, then zeroed in on this one girl with long dark hair who darted through the rest of them. She approached me as I leaned on the wall dividing the beach from the parking area and acted like I didn’t care much.
I have learned that charm and handsome looks can be helpful when you need them. So I immediately went into modeling mode. Using my stanza looks and facial expressions the way I use them in photoshoots, interviews, and at fan signings. I focused on one girl and gave her a couple of gazes of interest, which I knew would get the other girl’s attention. I looked and smiled at her from head to toe, instinctively noticing the sway of her wavy, almost waist-length hair as she approached me.
“Hi, sure you can join our game of volleyball.” She said flirtatiously
