A year A Part
Finally, she had a permanent roof over her head. No more hotels and motels and eating fast food constantly. She was sure she picked up weight over the summer eating this way. India purchased a couch, chair, and television with little funds to make her new apartment home. When Nan's beautiful antique bedroom set was delivered from storage. She had it set up in the bedroom. The large closet in her bedroom, part of it she used as an office/sitting room for quiet time.
This space reflected the good times in her life; she could come in whenever she felt down or sad. Souvenirs from her trip to the Pacific coast went in this room.
