The Road Back To You!
The order that most people take after boarding a plane is to find their assigned seat. Then, they get their overnight bags situated in the overhead bend and sit down. After sitting, she noticed that most people immediately open their windows and look out of it. Not India; once she found her seat, before even putting her overnight bag away, she did just the opposite of everyone else; she closed her window. She was letting out a sigh of relief. Now, she could comfortably put her things away and take her seat. India intended to keep the window closed for the entire flight duration. She figured it would ease her nerves if she couldn't see how high she was in the sky.
