Lisa was frozen in place. Gerald broke the kiss and then carried Lisa on his back.
"What are you doing?" Lisa shouted.
"Do you think you can reach the city before sunrise without me?" Gerald replied.
Lisa's mind was still blank after the kiss. She could not understand why Gerald had kissed her at all. However, she was embarrassed to ask.
She felt awkward being around Gerald. It was a strange feeling she had never felt before. Sometimes, Gerald seemed like a lover rather than a master to her.
"How can he act as if nothing happened after kissing me?" Lisa asked in her heart.
"Tell me. Is there any chance of your father moving to Long Sand Ville?" Gerald asked Lisa.
"Hmm... My entire father's life he spent in Long Sand Ville. There is no way he could be anywhere else,"
