He stormed in, seething with anger. Earlier, he had instructed her to wait at the university after finishing her classes, but when he drove to pick her up, she was nowhere to be found. He tried calling and messaging her, but she neither answered the calls nor read the messages. He then called to check if she had returned to her condo, but she wasn't there either. He decided to drive to her apartment immediately. He was both angry and frustrated that she dared to ignore his request. When he arrived at her room, she still didn't open the door for him. So, he had to go down to get the spare key to her room from his car to unlock the door. Upon entering, he found her sleeping peacefully on the bed, which made him inadvertently shout her name to wake her up.
“Penelope, wake up this instant!”
