Mukisa watching from boys' quarters window, terrified.
MUKISA (whisper to Alex)

Bella stands up, slams table - full queen mode.

MR. SSENTAMU

FLASH - Bella age 10, dancing alone in big living room, Mukisa clapping for her - only person clapping.
Bella opens eyes, tears.

Pastor and his men RAID the boys' quarters. Throw things. Pour holy water on mattress.
Mukisa on floor praying.

His power EXPLODES - not controlled - all buckets FLY and hit wall. Holy water splashes pastor.
PASTOR KIZITO (screaming)
Demon!
Alex's eyes FULL WHITE - first time fully losing control. Wind howls inside small room.
MUKISA (shouting)
ALEX! NO! Stop! You'll become what they say!
Alex breathes - stops. Eyes back to normal. He collapses.
Pastor runs out - "I will tell Ssentamu!"
MUKISA (holding Alex)
You have to go. Tonight. Both of you.
ALEX
Mama--
MUKISA
If they take you, they will take me too. Go to
your auntie in Katanga. One night.
