As the days settled in and things went back to normal. Willow continued to show interest in their new trainee, Sebastian. Claire had discussed where they were and where they were going but Sebastian seemed to have no clear understanding or idea as to where he was from or where he had to go. After a number of discussions, with the captain and other crew, they decided to house Sebastian as long as he took part in the running of the ship. Sebastian had agreed and was placed under Willows wing to learn the ropes and follow orders.
It had been a a fortnight and Sebastian learnt fast, making it easier for Willow to leave him to his jobs. Chores tended to be a daily reoccurrence so after the third day, Willow no longer checked in every hour or so and just let Sebastian get to work. The other members seemed happy with the additional help and would praise his ability to slide into the different jobs with ease. Even the Captain seemed to change his tune as the days passed and became quite fond of their new member, offering knowledge on the sea and the best way to travel with minimal hiccups.
On the fifth day, Sebastian had asked where they were heading and Willow looked up from the maps laid out in front of her. "We collected barrels of Rum from the ports at Port Smith and now are bringing them to Pirates cove. It's seen as an unlawful island to the law figures and the crown but we see it as a place to gather knowledge and find out where the next best job is. We aren't exactly considered the most welcomed guests in other ports or villages so we stick to our own and do what it takes to make a living and plan the captains next crazy adventure." Willows eyes gleamed with excitement with the thoughts of their next adventure which gave Sebastian a strange look on his face. "Would you not rather lay roots somewhere?" he asked curiously. Willow shook her head. "Roots are for those who prefer the land. I can't explain it but the sea has always been my preference and I don't think I have it in me to settle anywhere... at least not yet." Willows eyes looked to the horizon and smiled to herself before looking at Sebastian once more. "It's not a predicable life but these hooligans are my family and I owe them my life.
With a sense of curiosity, Sebastian looked at Willow with the intent to pry more before a shout came from the crows next.
"Land AHOY," Willow smiled and stood up, looking to the other side of the boat and seeing a pin sized island facing due west. "Looks like we made it in good time." she smiled as she turned to Sebastian. "You would want to be careful when we land." she seemed excited and had a dangerous glint in her eyes. "We are entering no mans land.... where rules don't apply and if you are not careful, you might be sold or swindled out of everything you own."
