As Sebastian lined up, the Captain grinned at him. You want this straw, he whispered quietly, seeming to assist him with his escape. Raising an eyebrow, her nodded and picked the straw with a green end. "You tricked me." he said as he looked at the green ending. "No at all Boy-o. You want your earnings, well work for them and help bring down the cargo. It's not too hard, we only have a hundred barrels of gunpowder to sell so that should be easy... right?" his eyes twinkling, sharing a knowing look with Sebastian. Sighing and nodding, he followed the other crew who were also picked out.
Two of the lads, who were twins were in the same bunker as Sebastian. They stood at 6'2 with sculpted muscles showing through their clothes. Once had red hair, while the other was blonde. Both had grey eyes that reminded Sebastian of a foggy morning where nothing was visible around them, "Liam and Logan right?" he asks as he follows them to the holding deck. They both looked at him and grinned. "Aye mate," the blonde man responded."I'm Logan and my twin is Liam. We were wondering were you avoiding us or were you just trying to get with the Captains favourite." The red haired lad laughed at his twins comment. "Nice to know you remember your bunk mates." he grinned as he gave Sebastian a hard slap on the back. "Sorry if I seemed that way," Sebastian rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I guess, I'm kind of shy... been a strange few days getting used to the dynamics... especially since my memory is so hazy." The twins look at him and nod, smiling. "Well we are happy to keep company and show you around the island once we are done here." Logan smiled, as he went to pick up the first barrel. "Sounds like a plan." Sebastian said as he proceeded to mimic Logans movements.
Damn these barrels were heavy. How did the twins not break a sweat as the carried their barrels with ease. "I guess ye are used to unloading cargo?" Sebastian huffed as they reached the half way mark carrying the barrels. "Aye," says Liam, "Captain gives us an extra gold coin for every barrel we bring out so makes us a little more coin." He grinned and picked up the next barrel. "He's good like that, the Captain, will pay you what you are worth. Each crew member has their place and makes sure to follow the rules. It's simple." Logan continued as they moved through the boat. "What are the rules?" Sebastian asked curiously. The twins stopped and looked at him in surprised. "Did they not tell ya lad?" Logan asked before turning and moving again. Sebastian shook his head. "Can't say that they did."
Liam grinned as he continued to move. "I'll tell ya then mate, there are only five so you should be able to follow them with ease." Sebastian nodded as he continued to carry the barrel.
"1. Captains orders are absolute, no ifs, ands or buts"
"2. You show the Captains Mrs respect"
"3. You do not put your crew mates in unnecessary danger."
"4. You respect the boat and make sure she's fixed and ready to go."
"5.You keep your hands off the Captains favourite."
Sebastian blinked at the last rule. "You mentioned them before.. Who is the captains favourite?" he asked wondering who it could be. Thought you would know by now." Logan responded, "It's Willow," both twins answered in unison. "The Captain adopted her when she was six or seven, treats her like his own." Liam said "No one on the boat is allowed to have relations with her." Logan continued. "Not unless you want a bullet in you skull."
Just as Sebastian was about to respond, they heard the Captain call out. "I don't pay you to swabble like old maids. Get on with it or I'll add you to the night shift." The three lads looked at each other sheepishly before getting back to work, now was no time to test the Captains patience.
