The quad started their stroll to the tow office . The walked almost in silence apart from the noises from their tired feets .

" I can't believe you forgot to remove our transport fare from the wallet . " Sarah said referring to Jane .

" Even if I had removed it . Which can driver would drive by 10 pm . " Jane retorted .

" You girls should stop arguing . " Sarah said tiredly .

They soon reached the address but the lady was about closing .

" Let's hurry up . She is about to shut the gate . " Don said as they fastened their pace .

" Hey Mrs . " Sofia greeted as they reached the lady .

" Hey kids . " The lady replied . " Too late . It's past midnight already and as you can see I'm locking the gate . " The lady added .

" We brought the twenty dollars as you said . " Jane said .

" Too late . " The lady retorted .

" Please . " Sarah pleaded .

" No . " The lady said again .

" Fifty dollars . " Don finally said . Every one looked at him but he didn't really care .

" Bring it . " The lady replied wide eyed .

" No . Open the gate first . " Don retorted .

The lady hurriedly opened the gate and Don walked in . He inspected the car and found no stain .

" Nice the car is in good condition . Jane , hand the money over to me and every one should get into the car . " Don added as he reached out and got the thirty dollars from Jane while she went into the car with Sarah and Sofia .

" Here it is Mrs. " Don handed over the money to the lady and hurried to the driver's seat . Before the lady could realize that she had been duped , Don had already driven off .

While trying to escape , Don splashed muddy water on the lady . Hence , the previously brand new white G - wagon had become a mud .

" s**t . " Don exclaimed as he splashed the mud .

" This car has to be washed before Mom and dad returns . " Sofia added . The trip continued in silence as Don drove home .

Before long they had arrived home , Every where was a mess as Cassie , their pet had scattered the whole house while they were away .

" We need to arrange every where before Mom and dad returns . " Sofia said .

" And also eat . " Don added .

" Yeah ." Jane concurred .

" Okay ! Don , you wash the car , Jane , you clean the house , Sarah , wash Cassie and put him to sleep . " Sofia shared the responsibilities .

" So what is Sofia going to do ? " Jane asked .

" I'll prepare dinner . " Sofia replied .

" I think it's breakfast . " Don interrupted as he checked his watch .

" Never mind . Every one . Hurry to your Functions . " Sofia said as they rushed to do their different jobs .

Not long after they had finished their duties and had eaten , the sound of Mr. William's car horn sent them scrambling to their different rooms . Before the couple could walk in , the children had already vanished into their rooms and tucked themselves to sleep .

" Wow ! The kids are already asleep . " Mr William exclaimed after he he checked up on them .

" Yes dear . And it is surprisingly interesting . " Mrs William concurred .

" Let's go and sleep . " Mr William finalized as he walked hand in hand with his wife to their room .

" Yea . I'm already feeling sleepy . " Mrs William concurred again .

They walked gently up the stairs to their room , still hand in hand .
