Valyris

Upon the dry deep, darkness, pain and death stench.. the beautiful flowers, the birds which sang at noon day, and the sunny days all a mirage.

Valyris walked into the cave where the human bodies are starched, Valyris rules over the Kingdom of Alyon since the holy gods placed a curse upon him, he began to have great hatred upon mankind.

Humans were used for spot in his kingdom, he ruled with wickedness and inflicted pain upon his enemies.

As he and Alyris and Amzahlel his captains walked down the tunnel, the human voices echoing from distance, screeches pain, horror and death. They cried, shouted and hauled agony.

Those were souls he collected, people he tore apart and trapped their souls in the great deep, no one dare challenged him. He ruled at night as a monster, and in the twilight as an angel of light.

He laughed while looking at his preys. He laughed hideously and cursed the holy gods.

He cursed the gods again, as he took a soul... Souls appear as a single bright light, the brighter the light, the greater the power. Valyris ate souls and gained more power and length of days.

He took the soul, and called it into a bottle, and the whole tunnel lit up. He laughed, then said this soul had a great destiny. What a waste he shouted and laughed again.

After this he and his captains walked out of the tunnel glowing and looking younger.

Valyris and his wife Ashtheroth became a terror to mankind, they took arms and tax of the kingdom for the curse they bear was great.

The holy gods promised a deliverer but known dare challenged Valyris and Ashtheroth, many were burned alive and many souls locked up in the tunnel. Valyris was called the eater of souls because that was his food.

The humans were foolish, they did nothing but eat and drink because they feared death, they said "no one knows the day of our death, let's eat and drink" Valyris bewitched them with magic, he had supernatural powers and could read the mind of men.

Foolish humans Valyris spoke as he watched humans play the spot in his arena. Arasha a mighty warrior who is half human and half demon killed all his opponents in the arena.

There are other mighty warriors including humans and demons, and they were all made to fight for their life.

aaahh Arasha shouted, as Valyris made the sign of kill... He broke the neck of his opponents and threw him on the ground.

Valyris rose up walked down the arena and placed his hands on the dead warrior and absorbed the energy from the warrior's body, a light energy went inside him.

The arena shouted, as the crowd jubilate happily.

Valyris not only used the warriors ate souls to prolong his life, it also gave him tremendous power. He became more powerful for every soul he ate.

Amzahlel his chief captain is a Nephilim, he is also a soul eater, Amzahlel hails from a small village called Azrel, although Valyris trust no one he has grown fond of Amzahlel, so much that he left everything in his charge. The chief captain is like his master, Amzahlel has no conscience, he did so much evil, he was nicknamed Lucifer by his subjects. Lucifer is the name of one of the gods who reside in the heavens. It was said that Lucifer stood at the door when creatures brought gifts to the holy gods, he took the gifts and never gave it to the gods knew but decided to watch him. Like Lucifer Amzahlel loved gifts, some he took forcefully.

Valyris never saw any wrong in his deeds rather he was greatly encouraged and even handed some of the province in the west, he was made an Duke, and Lord of the province.

One of the towns in the province is the newly captured town Sanacareb, Sanacareb is a town located west of Alyon. The war for Sanacareb was between King Croone of Amaraan and Valyris of Alyon, King Croone isn’t someone to joke with, he is also a great warrior. The reason the war tarried for year before Valyris won.

So Valyris gave the province to his chief captain after winning the war, and since then, the people of that province have seem much sorrow. Amzahlel takes tax of all goods, houses and lands. Leaving the kingdom of Alyon is the most difficult thing for any indigene, the soldiers who guides the gate must ask of your pass. This pass is difficult to even to get, so for this reason many people chose to stay moreover many have lived on their localities for years, and couldn’t afford moving to an unknown land.

“Move out of the way” A soldier shouted at the teaming crowd scattered around the local market in Sanacareb. The soldier is putting on a bronze helmet, breast plate, his sandals are made up of rubber. He has very grey beards which seems not to have been tended to for a very long time. In this midst of this chaos, a young girl, a teenager stood by the sides, she stood still while the others stand besides the street tried to make way for Amzahlel and his entourage.

It’s his normal parade which is done every last day of the week to ensure no one is trying to revolt against his master Valyris. “Move out of the way little girl” another soldier riding one of the horses with Amzahlel shouted. The little girl stood still, Amzahlel noticed this, and signaled the soldier to let her be.

People around stood in awe, they know who Amzahlel is, how wicked he is, letting a girl who disobeyed an order leave is not part of his good sides. On a normal day, he would have ordered her execution. The little girl stood there watching as the entourage past.

She was still staring when she felt s nock on her occipital, it was sharp yet heavy on her head. She turned around and it was Zanah. She shouted, and he said “Stubborn girl. Follow me” she refused, he carried her away forcefully.
