I haven't been the same since I've rejected Sage. My wolf Echo hasn't spoken to me since then either. I broke things off with ashley too, I didn't need her to think that I wanted her in any other way than a f**k buddy. I've been locked up in my room for majority of the time. It's gotten to the point where my best friends Adam, my soon to be beta, and justin, my soon to be gamma had to drag me out of the pack house to the mall.

'Dude cheer up you can always take a chosen mate.' Adam said trying to be cheerful.

'I don't want a mate.' I mumbled.

'Forget all that talk let's just window shop all these ladies.' justin said as he wrapped his arms around us.

I was the tallest of us all standing at 6'6, I have Caramel colored hair, with steel colored eyes, and a muscular build. Adam is 6'3 blonde hair and brown eyes with a slimmer build. While justin is 6'4 with black hair, blue eyes, and a build similar to mine. I loved these guys but they have been getting on my nerves lately.

We were talking about watching a movie when I smelt the only thing that could make me happy. Vanilla and oranges, Sage was here and I wanted to see her. Just as the scent was getting stronger I bumped into someone. I grabbed her shoulders and I felt tingles? That shouldn't be happening I rejected her the bond should be cut.

'Gage, Adam, justin nice to to see you but we're leaving.' the alphas daughter jasmine said.

I couldn't help but notice that they were walking out of the baby store which means one of them is pregnant? Sage might be pregnant? It was then that I felt my wolf stir. He was happy at the thought that his mate might be carrying his pups.

'Why were you guys in the baby store?' I said confused. Jasmine just kept pulling Sage along and it was frustrating me. I want her to notice me, she won't even look at me. 'Sage are you pregnant?' I asked her but she ignored me. For the first time I was being shot down and I didn't like it. I tried to follow her but Adam and justin wouldn't let me go.

'I need to know.' I said

'Dude just relax and we'll find out for you ok?' Adam said trying to calm me down.

Justin just stood by quietly as if he was processing something. I was thankful for his silence though.

'Look let's just grab lunch and then head home ok?' Justin finally spoke up.

We ate our burgers in silence. I was still trying to figure out if Sage would be pregnant. I know we had one night in the closet but would she possibly be pregnant? What if it was jasmine that was pregnant, that can't be though she's only 17 and next week is her 18th birthday.

'Guys I figured it out!' I shouted as we entered the car.

'Figured what out?' justin and Adam asked at the same time.

'Jasmines having her 18th birthday Ball next weekend. All the packs are to be invited and that's how we'll figure out if she's pregnant or not!' I may have said that a little too excited. Now I just have to plan how to get Sage back because truth be told I can't live without her.

I mind linked my dad as soon as we pulled up to the pack house. 'Dad meet me in your office it's important.' I all but shouted and closed the mind link after.

I burst through the door to see my dad was working on some paperwork.

'Dad if you rejected your mate is there a way to get your mate back?' I asked in a hurried voice.

'Why hello son it's nice to see you too.' he said sarcastically. 'Now slow down and talk to me not at me.'

'Don't be mad at me I know I was raised better.' I whispered.

'What'd you do son?' he asked concerned.

'Well the day of the annual pack ball I found my mate. I may have slept with her in the closet when I saw she was alone. Dad, I rejected her the next day when I excused myself to use the bathroom. I think she may be pregnant and my life has been miserable since then.' I said all in one breath.

'Son, I'm disappointed in you... I still love you but there is only one way to get your mate back. The only way to get her back is if she didn't accept the rejection.' he said sadly.

'She didn't accept it! it makes sense why I still feel sparks!' I said as I quickly ran up to my dad and kissed his forehead. 'Now I just have to win her back!'

This wasn't going to be an easy task because I know I made a really dumb mistake. If I have to spend all my life making it up to her to make her accept me I will. I don't care if she's pregnant or not because she's all I could think about.

'Guys come to my room asap.' I mind linked justin and Adam.

It didn't take them more than 5 minutes to get to my room.

'So we need a plan on how to tackle this.' I told them.

'Well we're all going to that party because our parents are making us justin and I can try to talk jasmine while you talk to sage.' Adam said.

'If you were a girl I'd kiss you right now.' I said as I jokingly socked Adam in the shoulder.

'It's settled, tomorrow we'll go shopping for clothes and I want to get Sage a gift.' I said and both boys nodded. For the first time I felt happy like this might actually work. I won't let anyone try to stop me.
