Birthday party 1

Did I mention how much I hate shopping? I hate it especially more so when I have to wear a dress, I really enjoy my skinny jeans. The first part of shopping sucked going back and fourth between dresses that were either the wrong color or wrong type. We spent an hour going over the dresses. Jasmine ended up picking out a gold mermaid gown that looked absolutely stunning on her. I was still looking for a dress when my eyes landed on a dress that captured my eyes. I found a silver a line gown that made my cleavage pop.

The next part of shopping is what I dreaded most, looking for shoes to match the dress. Thankfully I found my shoes fast, I found some perfect silver strappy sandals. that weren't too high for me, I hated how high heels made me feel I don't get why jasmine loved them. She found some heels to wear that were black, after we got some jewelry to match, then the part jasmine was all too excited for... the baby store.

I was happy to go shopping for the babies. These little beans were making me more happy to be alive than I had ever been. We went through the aisles looking and happily chatting about how cute certain things would look. I decided the get a stroller that came with car seats, I got it in black since we didn't know the gender of the babies. I'm also thankful that this store had stuff for triplets.

My favorite part of the mall is the food court. I really want some Chinese food, I could go for some orange chicken and fried rice. So that's what jasmine got me, she also got me a milk shake, did I mention how much I love her? Thankfully after the amazing food I got to have we finally went home. I'm thankful that my brother was there to take the baby stuff up and the omegas for taking the dresses up I didn't realize I was more tired from shopping then I felt.

'Hey let's watch a scary movie right now in the movie room. We could have someone bring up snacks even invite Jake, sebas, and jace.' I asked hopeful she would say yes.

'Well fine I'll let the boys meet us in 10 and I'll grab the snacks.' jasmine said happily.

I decided that I'm going to let Jace pick out the horror movie because just like me he's also a horror fanatic.

'Hey guys who's ready for the movie?' I asked

'Hey Sage, I saved you a seat I hope you don't mind.' sebastian was quick to answer. He's always been such a sweet guy to me, I wish that he would've been my mate. I know whoever gets him is lucky.

'Thanks I appreciate it.' I said with a flirty smile. Gosh what's wrong with me, it has to be the hormones.

'I got you a blanket, and let me go ahead and recline your seat, your feet must be tried from the shopping.' he said as he tended to me. I really wish it could've been Gage doing all this, but hopeful thinking gets you nowhere.

I'm thankful for my friends, I don't think that I would get as far as I would've if I was alone. The movie went by smoothly, although sebastian held me and I didn't stop him. I needed the comfort but I know he has a mate out there. So I know better than to get attached to someone who isn't my mate.

Day of the party.

The last day and a half went by in a blur. I helped put up the decorations, I even snuck away to get sebas and jas a gift. I'm pretty sure they'll like it, at least I hope they do. I had two hours to kill before I had to start getting ready. Jasmine requested that I go down with her because she wanted moral support in case she finds her mate. I was more than happy to do it, after all she's gone above and beyond for me with this pregnancy.

Yesterday jasmine and I went to get our nails done, which I know I say this a lot but I hate. I went with simple nude ombre nails and jasmine chose gold with some roses. I was pulled from my thoughts as jasmine busted into my room with all her stuff.

'I want to start getting ready I'll do myself first and you go shower.' She pulled me from my bed to the bathroom.

'Why hello best friend I'm doing OK today and happy birthday.' I said chuckling as I shut the door to take my shower.

I turned on the water to the warmest setting that I could handle and went right in. It was soothing to let the warmth envolpe me, like a hug that I could imagine was from Gage. It was then that I just thought about something important... Gage might be here today. In a panic I started to rush my shower. Onyx also urged me to try to look good, maybe he'd notice me. There I go again with the hopeful thinking.

Once out of the shower I quickly dried my hair. I slipped on my underwear and bra then put my robe on. I rushed out of the bathroom which started jasmine.

'I need to look good tonight.' I said in a rush as jasmine looked at me curious.

'You know it's my important day right?' she said smirking at me.

'I need to make Gage regret his decision.' I finally said in a more calmer tone which perked her interest.

'You're definitely on to something Sage I knew you needed to shower early.' she responded and finished working on herself.

After a few hours in her 'chair' she was finally done. She did my hair in a loose bun with curls that framed my face. She did a smokey eye look with black eyeshadow and eyeliner that made my doe eyes pop. I had on a burgundy shade lipstick. Of course she wouldn't let me see the product in the mirror until I put on my dress. For the first time in my life I was excited to put on my dress and heeled sandals. Jasmine helped me put on the diamond necklace and matching earrings that we bought. The moment of truth, the big reveal, when I looked in the mirror I didn't recognize the person looking back at me.

'Wow.' I whispered shocked.

'I know I do good work.' jasmine laughed. 'Ready to head down? Dad mind linked me and said he's ready for us to come down.

Coming down the steps was like a scene out of a movie. I felt like all eyes were on us and honestly it felt good. That was until my eyes landed on a pair that belonged to my mate.

Gage P.O.V

The party was starting off slow, I knew we were waiting on jasmine to come down. So far I hadn't seen Sage anywhere. I showed up on time in hopes that I would be able to talk to Sage before the party even started.

'Guys let me know if you see her anywhere.' I told both justin and Adam. They both nodded and went their separate ways.

It's been thirty minutes since I've parted with justin and Adam. I was getting annoyed greeting alpha's and their Luna's. Echo kept pacing around which was starting to give me a headache when I finally heard steps coming down from the stairs. I turned to look and I wasn't expecting to see Sage coming down with jasmine. I was starstruck I can't believe I had the nerve to reject someone as beautiful as Sage. I kept mentally slapping myself for the stupid mistake I made. Sage looked like a dream her neck was in perfect view and all I could picture was her wearing my mark. I just have to find a way to talk to her now, but no worries I have until the party ends.
