I woke up the next morning looking over to see my beautiful half-naked mate next to me. I rolled over, placed my head on his warm chest, and closed my eyes, his arms wrapped around me instantly as he woke.
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” I whispered softly. I felt his chuckle as he placed a kiss on my head. “I was already awake, my love,” he said softly.
“What time is it?” I asked, looking up at him. “A little past noon,” he smiled, and I sat up quickly. “Noon? Why did we sleep in?” I asked, shocked. “We have so much that needs to be done,” I told him.
