I left his room to go to mine. I walked in and went straight to my shower. I let the hot water run over me for about thirty minutes. That’s when there was a knock on my bathroom door.
“EverLeigh,” his husky voice said through my bathroom door. I mentally hit myself, now I thought his voice was husky.
“Almost done,” I lied, hurrying to wash my hair and get out. I jumped out, grabbing a towel. I stopped before I grabbed the handle, realizing he was in my room. How was I supposed to walk out there in a towel to get dressed when he was in there?
“Are you okay?” He asks.
“Yeah why?” I asked a little too fast.
“Your heart rate is rather fast,” he says.
