Raga pointed at the sky with his stick and made a rumbling sound. He shook his head and then pointed in the opposite direction.
“I’m with you. I think we should go the other way as well. I don’t know how violent the volcanic eruption will be, but we better stay away from it.” He stood up and then stretched. “Raga, lead the way.”
Raga grabbed Veronika’s hand and pulled her deeper into the jungle.
She followed him and Jeremiah did as well. “Where do you think he’s taking us?”
Jeremiah kept a close watch but could see no one else around them. “I do not know. I’m hoping to his people and that they are friendly.”
