He raced down the hill, with Sassy close behind him, both of them wading through the snow, trying not to fall on their faces. The car was on its side, the front windshield mostly caved in, the driver’s-side window smashed. Sassy grabbed his arm. “It might not be safe to get close.” “If it was going to explode, it would have happened already. Look at the layer of snow.
