“I’m genuinely sorry for any inconvenience she might have caused you, Doctor. It’s all my fault,” Liam said to the Doctor, a soft smile on his handsome pale face.
The Doctor waved at him, “No, no. It’s okay” he chuckled, before stealing a glance at where Daniella was still holding Liam’s other hand. “I think I understand the great bond between you two,”
The doctor didn’t allow his final words to be digested well to those he’d delivered them to before he adjusted his glasses and cleared his throat and continued, “Just a piece of advice, sir. Please, it would be wise if you limited your intake of liquor. It almost got you killed today, you know?”
