Demi's pov A slight smile played on my lips as I watched Haris play from the comfort of my bed. I was happier just from looking at him. He looked healthier, brighter, and happier as well. He had food, clean clothes, and opportunities to play with the other kids from the pack but he chose to stay with me and I knew it was because he feared being bullied like in the other pack.
