Aaron was trudging up the mountain, without any clear idea of where he was going or what direction he should turn, but that was fine with him…
For now, his priority was to put as much distance between him and the packhouse as he can, knowing that V would probably start a search for him when he came back with the Luna. If he wanted to find his mate, he would need to make himself scarce, so he’s choosing to go to places where he or Di would not usually frequent and have not visited yet.
If not for my need to keep my backpack and clothes, Onyx can get us out of there a lot faster. But knowing him, he’ll probably run back to the packhouse so he can tell the Alpha about my plans.
