"Dad... Dad, please go, don't worry about me. They want to kill you..." Lily's weak voice called out to Ethan. "Lily!" Ethan was on the brink of breaking down. He looked at the basin under Lily; it was nearly full of her blood. A wave of anger surged through him; his beloved daughter was being tortured to this extent. This was unforgivable! With his blood-red eyes, Ethan radiated fury and roared, "Scar, how dare you treat my daughter like this? I’ll make you pay dearly!" Scar laughed mockingly, "Ethan, I didn't expect a useless piece of trash like you to show up. You dare threaten me?" Ethan growled, "Release my daughter now, or you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" Scar ignored the threat and smirked, "Oh yeah? I'm going to torture this little brat right in front of you. What are you going to do about it?" With that, he pressed the red-hot poker against Lily's tender face. Sizzle! The sound of sizzling flesh and Lily's agonized screams filled the room as her skin burned and blistered. Scar and his men laughed cruelly. Lily, barely able to keep her eyes open, whispered, "Dad, run... please, just run..." The mocking continued. "Ha! Such touching father-daughter love, but too bad you'll both die today! Stupid enough to think you can threaten us? You don't have the strength!" Watching this horror unfold, Ethan's fury erupted to an unimaginable level. His veins throbbed, and tears of blood welled in his eyes as if he had turned into a demon from hell itself. "I swear, I'll make you all regret the day you were born!" Scar sneered, "You're just a dead man walking, still talking big. You will die here! Men, get him!" At his command, a group of burly men, each brandishing a long knife, surrounded Ethan, grinning like wolves closing in on their prey. Scar leaned back in his chair, casually nibbling on his roasted meat, smirking, "Chop him up into mincemeat. Today, I'll roast his flesh!" Ethan cast a disdainful glance at the men closing in. "Just you lot? I could crush you with a single blow." "Hahaha!" Laughter erupted among the thugs. "You're dreaming, brat! What do you think you are, a superhero?" They lunged at him, swinging their blades with lethal intent. But in the blink of an eye, Ethan moved with an almost supernatural speed. Wham! With a single slap, he obliterated one man's head, exploding it like a watermelon. Blood and brain matter splattered everywhere, and the body collapsed, spraying more blood from the severed neck. Gulp. The others froze, their throats tightening as they swallowed hard, their skin crawling with goosebumps. He hadn't been bluffing; he had indeed crushed that man's skull with one blow! "He's a demon! Run for your lives!" Panic set in, and they dropped their weapons, turning to flee. But there was no escape from Death itself. Ethan moved like a specter, closing the distance in an instant. Second kill. Third kill. ... He hunted them down until the last of them was a lifeless, headless corpse, blood still gushing from the stumps where their heads had once been. The air reeked of the metallic scent of blood. Ethan then turned his cold gaze upon Scar. Plop! Scar's mouth dropped open, the piece of roasted meat in his hand falling to the ground. All the color drained from his face. To Scar, Ethan no longer seemed human—he was a demon, a nightmare made flesh. 'How is this possible? He was supposed to be just a worthless nobody. How could he be so powerful!' Scar's mind raced in disbelief. "Scar, it's your turn," Ethan growled, his voice like the final judgment from the Grim Reaper himself. Scar quivered in terror, wetting himself as he stumbled back, desperate for a way out. He grabbed Lily and held a knife to her throat, screaming, "Don't... don't come any closer, or I'll kill her!" But before he could finish, a shadow moved so fast that it was barely perceptible. With that, Ethan's fist collided with Scar's face, shattering his nose and teeth. Flying backward, Scar spewed blood. Ethan caught Lily as she slipped from Scar's grasp, his strong arms gently cradling her as he tore away the ropes that had bound her. He held her close, his heart breaking as he tenderly caressed her small, delicate face. This man, feared by billions on foreign battlefields and known as a ruthless force against evil, now found himself unable to hold back the tears streaming down his face. "Lily, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I was late. It's all my fault!" Ethan's voice broke with guilt and pain. Lily managed a weak smile on her pale face. "Daddy, I'm not mad at you. Mommy always says you are the best daddy in the world." Ethan's tears flowed even more freely as he whispered, "Alright, Lily. As soon as I finish dealing with the bad guys, we'll go find Mommy, okay?" A flicker of joy passed through Lily's dimming eyes. "Okay. Then I'll have both Mommy and Daddy... I'll be the happiest kid in the world..." But her voice grew fainter, her eyes dulling, and her little hand fell limp. "Lily! Lily! No, don't leave me!" Ethan was on the verge of madness, his cries of anguish echoing through the room. "Ahhh!! I'll kill you!" His rage surged like a tidal wave, shaking the very earth beneath them. Ethan stormed over to Scar, grabbing him by the hair and unleashing a barrage of blows. Wham! Wham! Wham! He punched Scar's face a hundred times, turning it into a bloody, unrecognizable mess. "Ahh!! Ahh!!" Scar screamed like a butchered animal, his voice hoarse with agony. Then Ethan systematically crushed every bone in his body. Scar finally realized the gravity of his mistake—he had made an irreversible blunder and could not bear the consequences! "I can't take it! Please... please, have mercy!" Scar was now utterly terrified, his bravado shattered. He had never imagined that he would face this kind of retribution, the kind he had once inflicted on others. Now, he regretted every moment, every decision that had led him here. Ethan had warned him, but he hadn't taken it seriously and even mocked him! Out of all the people to provoke, he had chosen to cross this reaper of death! However, Ethan had completely lost control. He grabbed Scar by the neck, lifting him as his neck bones cracked ominously, on the verge of being crushed. Then, with brutal force, Ethan slammed his head into the fire pit! Sizzle! The stench of burning flesh filled the room as Scar thrashed and screamed in unimaginable pain. But nothing could save him now. He had crossed the line by harming Ethan's daughter, and not even God himself could offer protection. Scar was roasted alive, his head blackened and charred. Then Ethan kicked the lifeless body aside. "Where the hell is Lear? Get over here and save her now!" Ethan cradled Lily's limp form, tears pouring down his face as he screamed for help. A shadowy figure appeared, moving with ghostly speed, and knelt before Ethan. "Lord, I am here!" Lear, a high-ranking martial artist and world-renowned physician, was usually treated with the utmost respect by the most powerful of elites. But he was now at Ethan's beck and call, daring not to show the slightest dissatisfaction. He had arrived swiftly in response to the Black Dragon Order. Lear carefully examined Lily in his arms, his face quickly turning grave.
