Ethan said coldly to Hayson, "You've failed to discipline your men. Bullying and harassing people like this won't do!"
Hayson was startled and stood up, shouting at Bob, "You damn fool, did you hear that? You offended Mr. Howell, and no one can save you now. Kill yourself!"
Hayson threw a knife directly at Bob.
Bob was terrified, because he knew that Hayson wasn't joking!
"Mr... Mr. Hayson, consider all the years I've been loyal to you. Spare my life, please."
Hayson looked at Ethan, his eyes filled with pleading.
Ethan said coldly, "Well, since it is your first offense, cut off two fingers!"
Bob felt relieved, thanking Ethan profusely. "Thank you, Mr. Howell, for sparing my life!" Then, he picked up the knife to cut his fingers.
Ethan said, "Do it outside. There's a lady here!"
