“Yeah, I’m only sixteen during those time, but my friend is older than I am, she is 18 that time, so I pretend to be eighteen too,” she laughed. “Okay then, please continue,” I told her eagerly. "What did the guard say? Did you find out anything?" I asked an interesting question. "Nah! That guard has very little knowledge," "What?" I suddenly replied. "He said that the leaders were Korean and Japanese. And you can't be a member if you don't know anyone who is also a member of that club,” she said. “Since then we became curious, we always go there, to find out who the members are, we thought that we can see one of them and be our friend, but were just wasted our time, we didn’t see anyone, no coming out and no coming in, the guard said we have a wrong timing,” she scoffed. “So what happened?” “We didn’t give up because of curiosity, but when my friend leaves for Australia, I didn’t go there anymore, I’m just wasted my time of going there, but it’s just becoming an unforgettable moment, going in the mysterious club that we never got!” She sighed. I know how she feels, especially me when I heard the name of Gyung-suk, And then she reminded me. “Never ever go back there okay?” She said. “Why not?” “As what happened to me, you were just wasting your time of going there, whatever you do, you can never be a member there, because you will never meet one of them,” my sister said as she went to sleep. I laid in my bed, but still in deep thought. As for me, I want to go back there. I feel something strange. … The next day, as usual, my classmates bullied me again, because my shoes are broken, they are too old so I just put glue on them. They laughed when they saw me putting a glue. "Let's leave her alone!" Kate said and they laughed. "Who knows, her Korean boyfriend that she said will come," Eumie said laughing. I just ignored them. They laughed as they left the classroom. After I put my shoes on, I went back at Octagon club again. I did not eat recess, just because I will use it for a fare just to go there. I hid behind the light pole and waited. Hoping I might see Gyungsuk. But for more than an hour I did not see anyone coming in or going out at all. I thought maybe they would come too late. I still waited, but no one came, I approached the guard again. He smiled when he saw me, "You again, I thought so," he chuckled. "Why are you wondering?" I told him. "I know you will come back because you are very curious, right?" "Yes, I'm very curious," I replied. "We are just the same," said the guard. "Why does no one just go inside, you said that every night there has a party?" I asked him. "Yeah, but some members went in another door to get inside the club, I just don’t know where it was, I think it’s a secret passage, those who enter here are the new ones, as far as I know when you are an old member you do not pass here," said the guard. "Is that so?" I lost hope as I said, what if Gyungsuk is an old member? He will never pass in that door. I sighed. “Yes,” the guard replied. "What about the two Koreans that I saw before, did you see them here again?" I asked him interestedly. "Since I saw them they have not returned yet, I think they have not passed to become a member," The guard said. I thought about what he said. I thought it was really hard to be a member there, but why am I so curious and interested in that club. "So if I'm with you, don't come back, because no matter what you do you, will never be a member here, I assure you," he stated. "Maybe my boyfriend in Korea was in there," I blurted out. "It's hard to know that because everyone who enters here is wearing a face mask, you will not recognize them, even I, do not know them, but I am amazed to see them," said the guard. "Why?" I still ask. "They are of different races, and they dress differently than ordinary people, and I think they are all beautiful and handsome, I can see their eyes, but only their eyes," said the guard. "I'm even more mysterious for what you said, I want to know what that club is," I insisted, "Even though I want to, but I don’t know, I am also as curious as you, even if I was a guard, I don't know anything, so are you," he scoffed. "What will happen when you become a member?" I ask eagerly. "From what I see it looks fantastic, because all the young people who come in here are happy when they coming in or coming out, and they are always excited," said the guard and he told me to go home. I did nothing but to go home. But I said to myself, no matter what, I want to go back there again.… And while I was sleeping, I suddenly had a dream. I dreamed that I saw Gyungsuk outside the Octagon club. "Gyungsuk!" I called and chased him. But he did not look back. “Hey! Wait for me Gyungsuk! ” I called out. And he suddenly turned around. "Who are you?" He says. "Don't you remember me, I'm Kirstein!" I said tearfully. He looked at me carefully. “Get away from here! You are not belonged here!” He said and he backed away. I chased him again, but he quickly got inside the club and left me alone outside. And there I suddenly woke up. And because of that dream I became even more interested in going back there.
