I feel like I want to disappear from where I was standing. Phil seemed so mad. It was as if he wanted to bury Lucban alive based on his expression.
"Let her go!" Phil shouted firmly to Lucban. Fortunately, there were only three of us left in the room. If our other coworkers had still been there, they would surely wonder why Phil was reacting that way.
"Ceelin is drunk so I'm taking her home, boss," Lucban replied to Phil. He didn't seem to notice how dark his boss's face was and that he wanted to punch him.
"I said let her go." Phil approached us and pulled Lucban away from me. He carried me and walked out of the room while Larry went over to my sleeping friend.
I saw a mix of shock and confusion on Lucban's face at what Phil did but he didn't dare to question his boss. I'm sur
