"You're back," Phil greeted me as I entered the house. I almost pushed him away when he suddenly kissed my cheek and clasped our fingers. "My family is here," he whispered to me discreetly.
No wonder his behavior was unusual. It's because his family was in the living room, watching us.
"Hello, Mom. Dad," I greeted my in-laws. "I'm sorry. If I had known you were visiting today, I would have come home earlier," I quickly apologized.
