I wake up to a different environment that is definitely not my room. I'm in an almost dark room, I raise my head and notice a shadowy body next to me. I open my mouth to scream when I feel a hand cover my mouth.
"Shh. it's me."
It takes me a while to recognize the voice and my forehead knits in confusion as I gather my thoughts.
Jace turns on the light and light shines brightly in the room. I take a good look at Jace and see that he looks fresh like he just had a bath, which means he is feeling better now.
I scramble away from the bed while looking at the wall clock, I pray that no one is back home yet. I haven't prepared dinner and the time is already 6.
"Calm down, Princess. Where are you running off to?"
Princess? Did he just call me princess?
