I look over my shoulder just to see Jace resting on the wall opposite us while staring at Cassie in adoration.

The realization that Cassie is trying to trick Jace into believing that she has been apologizing to me dawns on me and I was consumed with rage, I feel like wrapping my hand around her neck and strangling her, that is saying a lot since I'm not a violent person.
