Nyra’s POV
Dinner with the twins had been a last-minute decision.
Mostly because I didn’t think I wanted to be alone with my thoughts…
After Father left, I learned he had been called away for an impromptu meeting with several high-ranking officials, hence leaving me to eat alone.
The same influential friends he had mentioned earlier.
And I hoped whatever they discussed would be beneficial to me because I was beginning to realize reclaiming my throne would require far more than exposing Silas.
In the short while I had been with dad, the twins had gone home… so I waited in the living room, lazily scrolling through my phone while waiting for them to arrive.
In my past life, my whole world had revolved around Silas and Vanessa, it was no wonder I was so easy to decide.
