The three wolves frolicked through the forest for nearly two hours, when Eudora’s wolf suddenly skidded to a halt, and her white head turned sharply back to the house.  She gave a yelp, and turned and started running full speed back toward the compound. "Victoria!"  Eudora cried in alarm through the mind-link.
