chapter 3; Family's mess

Lucy's work break has ended and now she has to return back to work, now she is back to her work habit her maids prepared some delicious meals for her but she didn't want to eat all she wants to do is get to work, she rushes to work in her sport car not wanting to be late.

At the company Mia changes the rules and starts to maltreat the workers for slacking off and some for coming late pouring hot coffee on their body and slaps them. They could not alter a work or speak not wanting to get fired so they apologize kneeing and crawling begging to be forgiven.Lucy steps into the office and the workers felt relieved she sees the workers on their kneeling Infront of Mia, she dismisses them telling them to go back to work which pisses Mia off, Lucy tries to sit but Mia rush and sit first felling like she had won. Lucy gets confused as Mia mocks her calling her all sorts of names and giving her a resignation form to fill, feeling like the boss Lucy takes the letter and tore it off throwing the pieces on Mia's body she then drags Mia out of the chair and sits on it. Mia starts to brag saying she is the number one and the most favourite in the family Lucy smiles and picks up the phone from her bag login into Mias bank account and transfers some money to hers telling her that it is compensation for wasting her time. Mia receives a debit message and storms out of the office angrily as she grumbles to her self.

It was up to an hour when Lucy got a call from her mother sodding her for humiliating her sister in her office. Lucy ends the call and switches off her phone. Mia on the other hand starts to fake tears in a pity able expression saying her sister doesn't want to be with her or in the family anymore rambling that Lucy doesn't like her. Mrs Jacob comforts her by telling her that she is going to talk to Lucy and gets the money back from her since Lucy's company is the Jacobs company since she inherited it from her late father. She logs into the company's bank account and withdraws 50 million dollars which is almost all the company's funds she then transferred it to Mia's bank account. Mia gave a slight smile and also convinced Mrs Jacob to give her the company and let Lucy step down from the CEO's position and Mrs Jacob agrees saying Lucy has been behaving badly lately.

Back to the company, Lucy's assistant rushes to the company saying that the company's funds have been withdrawn showing her the transaction history. Lucy already knows what's happening that her mother will do anything for her to give up this position so that Mia can become the next company president she then rests her body on the chair and gets a new plan telling her assistant to transfer the remaining funds to her account. She dismisses her assistant, closes her laptop she stands up and takes her leave.

Mrs Lu is home reading a book about Love and Trust, she begins to blush forgetting she is already old. Lucy walks in seeing Mrs Lu reading, she greets and wanted to go to her room but Mrs Lu stops her telling her to sit so they can talk. Lucy notice that Mrs Lu is not longer in her playful and joyful mood as she sits without exetating. Mrs Lu asks why she is back so early and Lucy explains everything that happened at the company without leaving the part that she took the remaining company's funds as her salary for working so hard for the company before it is given to Mia. Mrs Lu then asks what she wants to do with the money.

"I want to create another company under the Lu's name so that i won't get watched by my family and also they would fell like I am relying on Simon for money" she explains, Mrs Lu nods in agreement to what Lucy suggested she smiles happily as she closes the book she is reading returning to cheerful mood, Lucy observes how quick Mrs Lu changes her attitude noting how dangerous she really is. Mrs Lu is proud that her son married an intelligent lady but Lucy corrects her they they are not married but engaged and Mrs Lu argues back that they would soon get married which Lucy agrees to. Mrs Lu starts to introduce new business ideas and suggestions to Lucy but Lucy wasn't interested because she wants to create an company so she can bankrupt her family's company's little by little without them knowing. Mrs Lu tries to convince her to give up that idea but she wouldn't listen.

Lucy got called by her mother so she can hand over the company to Mia, Lucy already saw it coming her way so she agrees knowing Mia can't handle such position she didn't beg, she sets a date when would round up everything so she can hand the company over to Mia. On the specified date, Lucy wants into the Jacobs house house, signs the document and leaves. Mia felt happy like she has won a big battle calling her friends over so they can celebrate.

Mia then assends the presidents position in the company, the first thing she did is to sack all her staff at high position giving it to her friends, the companys stocks begin to drop drastically and staffs begins to resign from the company. Mia and her friends didn't notice because they party all day, any staff who tries to knock on their office gets fired for interrupting their party and day by day the stock drops. Some of Mia friends tries to steal from the company but couldn't because there is no funds for her to collect. Most of the staff left the company while the ones who stayed work overtime thinking they would get recognised and get promoted.
