Lucy and Mia are still young, they went to the pack to play with friends when some group of harmed men kidnapped Mia she cries to Lucy begging for help, Lucy runs to hide as some of the harmed men stayed back to search for her. They searched till midnight but found nothing. Lucy hides inside a trash bin using the dirt to cover her body as she holds her nose and mouth not wanting to make noise.

Mia is kidnapped by Jacob's rival who wanted to use her as hostage so her parents would get bankrupt and they would not be a threat to them anymore and they would lead the industry.

It was late at night, Lucy ran home to tell Mrs Jacob what had happened to Mia, she went on her knees as she was beaten by Mrs Jacob who was wondering why she wasn't the one who got kidnapped. The telephone rings as the rival demands billions of dollars, Mrs begs to swap Mia for Lucy begging that she would pay an extra five hundred million dollars.

It was time to swap Mia and Lucy the armed men grabbed Lucy by the hand and pulled her to their car as they drove away Lucy sees Mia smiling at her she shakes as the armed men plan to toy with her before they carry her to their boss. The car stops as the armed men drag her out they first went to relieve themselves before the toy with Lucy, Lucy saw an opportunity to grab a pistol from the van as she fires at them some tries to turn and shoot back but Lucy takes the opportunity to hide inside the car she then takes some money out of the five hundred million dollars in the bag she jumps through the window escaping into the bush she climbs a tree to hide as the harmed men search for her .

Lucy gets home with her clothes dirty as she tries to enter but the bodyguards and the gate keeper wouldn't allow her to enter she had to sleep on the street for a while night. She got beaten the next day for coming home Mrs Jacob slaps her and also uses her belt to flog her. She was told not to step into the house and was crushed by Mrs Jacob. Lucy swore that she would reclaim all Mrs Jacob took from her late father. She starts to hate her family putting all the blame on her late father who fell in love with Mrs Jacob knowing that she was in love with Lucy's father. She recalls the times she tries to play with Mrs Jacob who always told her to call her aunty and her dad never saw anything wrong with that and also the time when her dad died and Mrs Jacob married Lucy's father wanting to play with Lucy or do anything to make her call her mum. Mrs Jacob always does anything to get Lucy's attention and make sure she gives Lucy anything she wants. Mia starts to get jealous of Lucy because of her intelligence and beauty most of the time they swap results just to make Mia feel comfortable and good and Mrs Jacob would also beat Lucy making sure there are bruises on her face so she could look ugly and Mia would be the prettiest any where she went. People whispered any where they went about how Lucy is being treated. Mrs Jacob always praised Mia anywhere she went making her feel like she is perfect and the best in everything she does.

Due to the rumours spread like wildfire Mrs Jacob had to send Lucy out of the country so people Could say she really loves all her daughters. Lucy works day and night in order to feed her self she had to stay in a ramble and cheap apartment she works tirelessly to make sure she feed ever since she got to the United States Mrs Jacob had not sent even a kobo to her. Lucy had to rely on scholarship and sponsorship to go to school she made sure she balances her time even when she was busy with works. People don't dear mess with her because of her personality some called her the ice queen, mafia queen, ruthless, she was calm and make friends anyone who mocks her never goes Scot free she makes sure she finds the person to the end of the world and make the person work for her in any of her part-time jobs earning her some cool cash she pushes people by making them work for a week or month with out paying them or sharing her salary with them because of that people tends to avoid her not wanting to work for her for free. Lucy also connects with people using the money she saved during the time of her kidnap and the money she saved to start a small business ( a jewelry shop), her shop got popular because of the advert she does in school since her mates and other students from the school came from a wealthy background so she advertises her product in school changing her punishment for anyone who mocks her, they most by a jewelry worth above five million before she lets that person go. She then change her apartment buying a two bedroom apartment for herself and also living large. While Mia causes trouble for Mrs Jacob she always love to bully or mock people by beating them till they can no longer walk, because of how high Mrs Jacob influence is she always goes Scot free but she can't handle the families because her personality is too hard and it would lead the company to bankruptcy Mrs Jacob had to call Lucy to come bank to her country so she could handle the business Lucy saw this as an opportunity to get back at Mrs Jacob and Mia for all the wrong they had done she pretends to work overtime as she plants virus in the company.
