As we sang Claire quickly began to dance, and as with most everything she drew all those around her into her fun. We played through several songs: Rocky Road to Dublin, Star of the County Down, and many others, both traditional Irish songs and a number of country songs as well. Whenever I tried to quit I'd be badgered until I started to play again, my sisters and cousins always being the first to force me into playing.
Through all the festivities I never stopped looking for the two oddities that showed up earlier, but they must have left as I never did see them again.
