CHAPTER 14:
As George slept soundly, Debra called Maisey. She talked with her on mobile. Debra knew the kids could do great without her and she interrogated to know that.

Maisey talked to her mother while looking outside through the window of her bedroom. She saw dark clouds looming over George's house...an unusual patch...darker then the others, already lurking over the entire sky. She could feel the eerieness...however her mother's voice on the other side of the phone was relieving. Milan was preparing special Chinese food for both of them. She joined her in kitchen to help Milan after talking to her mother.
Over the dinner they talked about their crushes at school and how good looking some boys at school were. Maisey suggested that they should play a dress up game, by dressing up into their favourite outfits, so after clearing the kitchen, they played and laughed..took pictures on mobiles...send them to their mothers.

Debra was looking keenly at George who was now sleeping on his bed. He was snoring too and she could feel from the relief over his face that he must not have slept from days. She could feel the eerieness surrounding the house and was
depressed by the loneliness. The vibration of her cell phone pulled her attention.
Maisey had sent pictures to her of both girls having fun together.
" At least the girls are fine" , she thought. She looked at the pictures and sent hearts and kisses to her daughter.
She decided to sleep on the sofa in the living room after having something to eat. She found cheesecake in the fridge which was sufficient to help her stress relief.

The clouds weren't permitting the sunshine however George woke up. Seeing himself not changed into a sleeping suit made him smile. He remembered the kiss he had with Debra before dozing off. He could see her sleeping on the sofa through the glass wall of his bedroom. She was an angel for him..an angel of life.
" How could he save himself without her?"
he thought.
