CHAPTER 13:
They were both sitting in his house and despite of heating provided by heating appliances...there was a certain chill in the air of the house. He told her about the requirements to ward off these invisible creatures. She listened carefully to everything he said and although her mind was lingering between belief and disbelief about his story, she thought it important to help a person like him, in a situation that was out of his control.
"Hold my hands..and relax." Debra said in a low voice. George obeyed like a little boy. While holding hands, Debra studied his facial features. A man of her age...handsome, tall, bestowed with everything a woman is attracted towards. "George..how do you feel? Do you feel fine now?" George was listening to every word Debra was saying, but he didn't feel like replying. He was scared of loosing the warmth of her hands. Her positive energy was making him warm. He could actually feel divination of a new company, pushing the negative energies away.
"Can I kiss you Deb?" Debra loved to hear him calling her like this..She nodded and they both kissed. It didn't last for long though but it felt like litting fire in the cold.
He fell backwards on the couch and sighed.
" Oh Deb, you are a life saver for me...Please don't leave me alone" George was slowly dozing off into sleep. Debra watched him as he slept.
" Debra! don't you fall in love with this guy. That would not suit a woman like you. You hardly found time to spend here. It should be helping him only" Debra said to herself. Although they were friends, but she was hesitant to convert their relationship into love.
