THE FIRST DAY of the Sports Fest went by without any major disturbances. Aside from a few problems with the sports equipment and schedule adjustments, the first day ended in a good note.
The Student Council expected that, though. They all said it’s always easy to handle the first day. It is the second day that we should prepare hard for. Now I understand why. It’s because of the VIP guests.
They are scheduled to arrive in Golden Cross around afternoon but since morning, there has been a different ambiance in the campus. The students are both excited and nervous; excited to see the visitors but nervous and on their toes because some of them are kids of the parents that will attend.
