Trei raises his brows. “Who what?”
I inhale again, ignoring the sharp pain in my chest due to lack of oxygen from running and climbing the stairs. “Who is the one who posted that photo and started the rumor about me?”
He doesn’t move from his position. He stays leaning against the conference table facing me. The corner of his lips quirks up and his eyes glint with mischief. My stomach clenches because I am starting to become familiar with his facial expression right now. He is not going to make this conversation easy.
I sigh, thankful that I am no longer gasping for breath. I walk toward him. “Just so you know, we don’t have all day. We have class in thirty minutes. Just tell me what you’ve learned so I can thank you and I can do something about it.”
