What's a locator spell?

ALICE'S POV
I had no idea what a locator spell was.
So I piped up.
"Um, what's a locator spell?"
"It's one of the most basic spells that you can learn as a witch. Sam could use it to find just about anyone with it. Even though it's a basic spell, it's one of the most used spells."
"Okay, you talk about spells and powers and magic. How are powers different? Can he get hurt?"
"Well, most witches have one unique ability and they use their magic for spells. Some abilities are telekinesis, controlling others emotions, psychic, freezing time, fire, electricity, manipulation of the elements, etc. It can literally be anything under the sun. Power is a term used for the abilities but it can also be used for the amount of magic the witch in question holds inside them. Spells are how we do things. There are spells for starting a fire and for removing fire, some are offensive spells or defensive spells. Others are spells like the locator and they help to do smaller tasks."
"Okay, so--"
"Alice, Baby, you're asking a lot of questions."
"She's fine."
I continue with the questions after grabbing Sam's hand.
"So, why does it seem like Sam has more than one ability?"
"Well, he has powerful ancestors. We're related to Sarah Good. She had a daughter that no one knew about, because she used a glamour spell to hide her daughter. Once her daughter was an adult she had two daughters. The oldest one died young, but the younger one changed her last name to Aggies after marrying Tom Aggies. They had three daughters. Every child born to the Aggies/Good blood line have been witches, but they've all been girls."
"Then, how does that make him different?"
"When Sarah Good was burned at the stake, she muttered one last spell. That spell basically stated that the first boy born to this blood line would be invincible and would have every ounce of power that she originally had and then some."
"Wow, that's super cool, right, Alice?!"
"Absolutely. I do have a couple more questions."
"Go ahead."
"So, he's like, a super witch?"
"Haha, yeah, kinda!"
"Heh, well, I think I may have coined the abilities he has."
"What do you think they are, babe?"
I stand and he stands with me. I walk him to the edge of the lake.
"Walk out into the water and focus on trying to walk on top of it."
*laughs* "Like, Jesus?"
"Yes."
He steps out onto the water and his eyes start to glow. Before he even realizes it, he's manipulating the water to be stiff like a board and is walking on it. He looks down with a huge smile.
"Good! Now, think of the wind whipping around you." He does so, and soon we're wrapped in large gusts of wind.
"Oh my gosh! Am I doing this?!"
"Unbelievable..." Charlotte murmured.
"Think about the trees bowing to you."
The trees bowed.
"Now, light that fire pit."
The fire pit roared to life. He looked so excited. He ran back to the dock and swept me up in a hug.
"So, manipulation of the elements, and telekinesis?! That's awesome!"
"That's very awesome. We did a few spells and learned about your abilities and now I'm worn out. Can we go back and go to sleep?"
SAM'S POV
"You're so cute." I nuzzled Alice's neck.
"Ew! Go to bed, kids! Haha!" Charlotte shooed us away.
We went to the bedroom and the way Alice looked in my t shirt with her hair in a messy bun, just made me want her so bad. But, I was sure she was tired. I took off my sweats and climbed into bed. I'm not sure what she was doing in the bathroom, but it took a long time. Thirty minutes after getting back to the room, I knocked on the door.
"Hey, Al, are you okay? You've been in there for a while."
I heard her retching and I opened the door.
"Baby?"
She lifted her head from the toilet and she looked awful.
"I'm fine, just go to sleep. I choked on my night time pills and started barfing."
I nodded slowly.
"I didn't think you took pills."
"Heh, you've known me for 12 years and you didn't know I took pills?"
"I've never seen you take them."
"Oh. Well, I'll be out in a few. I'm gonna shower and wash the puke off."
"I could use a shower, too."
"I'm not up for that kind of shower."
"How about the kind where I just help you feel better by washing you?"
She nodded weakly and I helped her get undressed. I turned on the water and stopped before helping her into the shower.
"Ah, that's nice."
"Yeah, it is."
I washed her and she melted into my touch. I made sure I was clean and then we got out. I grabbed her a towel and wrapped one around my waist.
"You wanna sleep in one of my shirts?"
"Of course!"
She grabbed one of my shirts and put it on. I turned on the flat screen and put on black plaid boxers. I tossed the remote on the bed that was supposed to be hers. She went under the covers and smiled at me.
"You comin'?"
"Uh, yeah."
I climbed into the bed and got under the covers. I laid on my back and propped my head up with the pillows. I forgot we had cable all the way out here. I thought as Alice flipped through the channels. I used my telekinesis to flip the light switch without moving an inch. Her head whipped towards me.
"You're such a sexy witch. It really turns me on when you use your magic."
"Haha! Oh, really?" I kiss her and she slides on top of me.
