I’m lying on my cott exhausted from the day but unable to sleep. I can’t believe I’ve been here for 2 months already. I wonder what my family is doing, do they miss me? Aren’t they worried that I haven’t contacted them in all this time? There was a time in my life that I had everything. A loving family and pack, a man that loved me, freedom and people to rely on. Even after Justin left me for Sophia I still had it all and a mate to look forward to meeting but I threw it all away, and for what? My own stupidity! Did I honestly think he was just magically going to fall back in love with me because she was gone? I was being so stupid. I have to get out of here I can’t take it anymore. With that thought I get out of bed and slowly creep to the door. I turn the handle slowly and quietly and pull the door open just enough to look out and see if there is anyone there. As I step into the hall I am greeted with silence so I assume everyone is sleeping. I make my way down the hall to the stairs and up to the main level. As I get to the front door I pray with everything in me that there is no alarm, my heart is beating so fast that my breath is uneven. I carefully unlock and open the door and feel relief when nothing happens. I realize then that I did not plan this very well at all. I step outside and take a breath of the fresh air. As I release it I dart off into the night. I try to shift but can’t for some reason. Maryanne hasn’t talked to me since we got here but I just assumed it was something in the house blocking our connection but now I’m worried that there’s something more going on. I’ll just have to make it out of here on my own.

I’ve been running for what feels like hours. I have no idea where I am and without Maryanne I don’t know if I’m still on their territory or not, I just hope I’m not. All of a sudden I hear a sound behind me. Looking back was my undoing, as I look back I see a huge silver and white wolf. He tackles me and pins me to the forest floor. He shifts back and is naked on top of me and my goddess I am mortified when I start to get aroused. I’m supposed to be running not trying to have a midnight rondeau. He gets up quickly and asks me what I’m doing out here all alone. I ask him what pack is this and he tells me it’s the Red stone pack. I smile so big my cheeks hurt. I tell him that I was kidnapped and I need to get back to my family and can he please help me? He smiles and says he will take me to their pack house so that I can call my family. He shifts back into his wolf and motions for me to get on. After an hour of walking I lay against his fur and fall asleep, feeling that I am finally safe. I’m awoken by someone grabbing me by my hair and yanking me off of the wolf. I scream when I realize it’s alpha Jacob. I look to the silver wolf and he looks so sad but then quickly shifts back to his human. “You lied to me!” I yell at him. Just then alpha Jacob slaps me hard across my face and throws my body in front of a group of warriors. “Punish her” he tells them with a sickening smirk on his face and with that I am dragged away by my hair kicking and screaming. Yeah not my proudest moment considering pack members were pointing and laughing at me but screw them. I just hope the punishment isn’t as bad as I think it’s going to be.
