I didn’t know what was happening, but judging from the resentful glares I received, I was not welcomed here. They hate to have someone they consider as prey at their home.
Same with me, they were not welcomed to my land either. It’s pissing when someone outside of our boundaries invades your place, but being here would give me extensive ease to research them on a large scale.
That was the main reason I surrendered myself to Cress. To research them and shift my mind from the tribulations I faced. The more I could drown there, the more I would maintain my sanity and not fall into depression.
“What?” I asked when I noticed her butler Jonathon glaring at me. I had never seen anyone in the town apart from that Lucas guy. They all stay inside hunting animals, I guess.
