Utterly vexed about Aubrey, I returned home as soon as I could. She had always been a strong woman with no fears and when she was afraid, I was concerned. Praying constantly that Aubrey is okay and Cress might not have hurt her in any possible way. I couldn’t allow myself to leave her alone when she was scared. My mind was clouded with worrisome thoughts. I couldn’t think properly and needed to see my wife.
