7- Aubrey’s

After meeting Hayden and running a few errands, I went back home. It was evening and I saw Aubrey was in the library reading a book, engrossed in it, almost forgetting I had told her something last night.

“Aren’t you ready yet? I thought I told you we were going.” I asked playfully, taking the book and replacing it with my hand, leading her to our room.

“What?” She asked, “I told you, I want you near me.” I smirked, stopping in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection lovingly.

“I can’t believe you were serious about the date.” She asked in disbelief, but I chuckled, hugging her from behind and kissing her neck seductively.

“Of course. I have made my woman furious, I had to do something to win her back.” I hummed, holding her firmly to not escape her arms. No woman could give me the flutter she does. I won’t let anyone take her place.

“Oh, you.” She giggled, lowering her gaze shyly at my unforeseen affectionate actions.

“Now, get ready, Mrs Solis.” I smirked, moving back. She grinned and nodded, getting ready for our date. To be honest, I needed it too.

I desperately needed a reprieve from the constant deaths surrounding me, from strange things turning my life upside down. I needed it.

“How do I look?” She asked, showing her dress, which brought a smile to my lips.

“Just as angelic as I first saw you.” I whispered, kissing the back of her palm, making her blush deeply.

“Shall we leave?” I asked gallantly, wrapping my hand around her shoulder, pulling her near me.

“Sure.” She giggled as we went to the town to have dinner outside and walk on the streets together and talk, spending a loving time, oblivious of the world.

“The night’s beautiful, right?” I asked, refusing to leave her.

“Mhm..” She nodded.

“Even beautiful when witnessed beside you.” I whispered temptingly in her ears, making her blush at my comment.

“You sure are in a good mood today,” She whispered back. She smiled, holding my shirt, looking at me with those mesmerizing eyes of hers. I smiled when I saw how she looked at me and pulled her closer.

“I am always in a good mood whenever I am with you. I do everything for you. In fact, tell me, what life do I have after work? Nothing. Just you.” I shrugged and it was true.

After work, I give her all my attention. I always try my best.

“Yeah, right.” She taunted, arching a brow playfully at me, but I smirked and pulled her closer.

“Aubrey. I love you, you know it, don’t you?” I whispered, caressing her cheek softly, forgetting worldly problems at the moment, stopping and providing her with all my attention.

“Of course, Ace. I love you too.” She giggled, nodding happily.

“If anything happens to me, leave this place and don’t return. Live the dreams I stole from you.” I whispered, continuing our walk. Doubting I’d be able to survive this plague affecting our land.

“Ace, don’t say that. You are my dream, I can’t lose you and you can’t leave me. I strictly forbid you.” She puffed, poking my chest with her long nails, not liking it.

“Yes, Madam.” I chuckled.

“I am worried about you. If this plague affected you, what would happen to me then? That’s why I constantly react this way. I am perturbed for us.” She whispered sorrowfully. I understand her concern but I can’t allow myself to run away this time. I must fulfill my responsibility.

“Aubrey, don’t be vexed about me. No one can hurt your man.” I smirked, trying to shift the topic. I was not in the mood to fight here, we were here to find serenity, not argue.

“I know…” She sighed, curling her lips upwards.

“Love-” I was about to speak something to make her understand softly, but I saw someone entering the alley mindlessly, indicating it’s show time.

She is here too.

Someone is going to etch the fact I am all Aubrey’s tonight. Oh, she is going to regret desiring me. I will show her I yearn for no woman but one.

Smirking darkly, I grabbed Aubrey’s wrist and took her with me, “Come.”

“Where?” She asked, perplexed at my sudden actions, but I took her into the dark alley, knowing all too well Cress was there as well.

“Ace? Why are we here?” Aubrey asked hesitantly, not liking it. We were in a dark and hidden alley, but I smirked darkly and pinned her against the wall, refraining her from running away.

“Because I want you, you sexy woman.” I growled, pinning her hands with mine beside her head, pressing my body slowly over hers, noticing how beautifully she trembled at my touch. Not expecting those actions from me.

“W-Wait, we are in public.” She stuttered but my smirk grew wider, leaning down to her ears, breathing heavily, “So what?”

“Aren’t you too excited today? You haven’t been like this before for a long time.” She giggled, curling her lips from one side, freeing her one hand and tracing it on my abs, all the way to under my chin.

“What else do you expect? I have been working mindlessly for months. I want my woman now.” Whispering huskily, I bit her earlobe, leading down to her neck, kissing it intensely.

“H-hey.” She moaned, since it’s been a while we have shared intimacy as she arched her back, trying to take it a little slow but I won’t deny it. I want her. I need her to help me relieve myself.

And doing it here thrills me, moreover, when I noticed a pair of scarlet eyes watching us with a scowl which made me smirk.

“Shut up and enjoy, Darling.” Growling, I sucked her neck while looking at Cress dead in her eyes.

Making my wife moan a little loudly, melting her by the power of my touch. She gripped the collar of my shirt, closing her eyes to feel the effect of my touch driving her wild.

After successfully marking her neck, I pulled away breathlessly, pecking her cheek, smirking victoriously.

“You are the most beautiful woman ever, Aubrey. The love of my life. I am yours, all yours.” I enunciated, loud enough to clear it with Cress to not dare to mess with me again.

“Of course~” She licked her lips temptingly, holding my neck.

“Love, let’s go home and continue. Tonight’s going to be long.” I smirked, pulling away a little. Allowing myself to let loose tonight and relax my mind and probably not my body.

“Why not?” She laughed a little, holding my hand firmly as we were about to leave the alley and Cress showed what happened when I toyed with fire as a scream came from the other direction- showing I had made Cress furious and the outcome of it wouldn’t be good.
