I hastily repacked my belongings, feeling overwhelmed by the constant presence of other pack members in the Alpha's office. The frustration and emotional closeness between me and the Alpha weighed heavily on my mind, leading me to tears, a rarity for me. Once my things were in the car, I checked the Pack house for Esther, but she was nowhere to be found, so I returned to the room to wait for her.
When Esther finally knocked on my door, I welcomed her in. She offered the use of her house, and I accepted gratefully, still holding the room key in my pocket.
With Esther by my side, we made our way to the Alpha's office. As I opened the door, I couldn't help but feel the anger boiling inside me. The Alpha's influence on my emotions was undeniable.
