EVE’S POV The sound of Morgan’s sudden voice surprised me, and I turned around to face him. What was he doing here? Had he followed me? Why? To see whether I would go to wherever it was he thought I had exchanged his ring at? But instead of confronting me, he was looming over the securityguard who had been about to throw me out of the shop threateningly. I supposed he felt it was his duty to defend me.
